stamping and punching Nestabilities in the Cuttlebug

Today I show you how to use the Cuttlebug Spellbinders Nestabilities templates can punch mark in a single operation AND.

first is layered from the bottom up first plate A and B

Then come then 3 layers of paper file.

Es folgen das zu stanzende und zu prägende Papier und darauf die Schablone mit der Messerseite nach unten.

Abschließend wird die Platte C darüber platziert und das Ganze zweimal vor und zurück gekurbelt.

Medallionkarte

Ich wollte schon immer mal sowas machen und jetzt, wo ich den Stanzer habe...
Und da dachte ich mir, ich schreib auch gleich ne Anletung dazu. Selber habe ich die Anleitung von den Splitcoaststampern.
Hier kommt sie in deutsch!

Man braucht für das Medallion:
ein Stück Papier 7 cm X 7 cm (oder 2 3/4 " X 2 3/4 ")
den Bogenstanzer von SU (oder ähnlich..)

Setze das quadratische Papier mittig an dem Stanzer an, rechts und links stehen etwa 5 mm über...

dasgleiche machst du jetzt, nachdem das Papier um 90 Grad gedreht wurde.

fertig ist das Medallion.

Das Motiv, das auf das Medallion kommt habe ich mit Nestabilities ausgestanzt.
Da sind der Phantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Broken glass and how I work with a Stamp Ma Jig

Inspired on the subject I was Saturday's workout . And I'm writin 'about the card and a workshop.
And I am doing now.
It does not take much, just important that you have thicker colorless embossing powder. The only way you can get such this look.
Otherwise
desired stamp, paper, ink pads (including a Embossingkissen !!!), fastening and cutting material and desired decoration.

First I stamped the image on a piece of paper and cut it out.

I rub the subject completely with Versamark and sprinkle it with the thick embossing powder (there is liquid glass and is cards kunst.de , or it is under the UTEE name)

By Embossingföhn (I use a heat gun from the hardware store - so that dissolved colors ...) I emboss first once, then toss and turn back the damp motif in the powder

and emboss again (you can ever make on the density and a third time, it should look pretty flat.)
I then put the subject for a few minutes in the freezer of the refrigerator or in the freezer.

After a few minutes freezing it looks like this.

Jetzt wo es fest ist, gehe ich hin und knicke es vorsichtig, sodaß das "Glas" bricht.

Um die Risse sichtbarer zu machen kann man nun mit Pigmentfarben drüberwischen (bitte nicht mit StazOn, da das auch auf der Fläche bleibt!!!), wobei die Farbe in die Risse eindringt. Alles andere bleibt klar.

Jetzt wird gemattet, d. h. das Motiv wird mit Cardstock unterlegt und ein kleiner Rand schaut raus.

Der Hintergrund wird nun auf den gewünschten Cardstock gestempelt

und die Ränder franse ich mit meinem Cuttermesser aus, damit das alt und kaputt aussieht - im Fachjargon nennt man diesen Vorgang Edgedistressing.

So sehen dann die Ränder aus

Ich wischte dann mit photo vintage von Distress/Ranger über die Ränder (edges) um sie noch stärker zu altern (distressen)

So sieht das fertig aus.

Ein Band wird herumgelegt und ein flacher Knoten gemacht.

Jetzt wird das Motiv paltziert und aufgebracht.

Mein Text, der nachher auf die Karte soll und ich auch direkt auf die Karte stempel will (direct to paper), richte ich mit dem Stamp-a-Ma-Jig aus. Dazu lege ich das SAM und the associated slide against one another and die right in the corner.
